🚀 Quick Start

Prerequisites

- Python 3.13+ - GitHub account with public repositories - Anthropic API key - (Optional) CodeRabbit AI integration on your repositories

Installation

1. Clone the repository

   git clone https://github.com/yourusername/twitter-linkedin-pr-poster.git
   cd twitter-linkedin-pr-poster
   

2. Set up environment

   # Install dependencies using uv (recommended)
   uv sync
   # Or using pip
   pip install -r requirements.txt
   

3. Configure environment variables

   cp .env.example .env
   

Edit .env and add your credentials:

Getting API Keys

#### GitHub Token 1. Go to GitHub Settings → Developer settings → Personal access tokens 2. Generate a new token with public_repo access 3. Copy the token to your .env file

#### Anthropic API Key 1. Visit Anthropic Console 2. Create an account and navigate to API keys 3. Generate a new API key 4. Copy the key to your .env file

📖 Usage

Basic Usage

Run the tool to automatically find your most recent activity and generate content:

python main.py

The tool will: 1. 🔍 Scan all your public repositories 2. 📋 Find the most recently merged PR 3. 🤖 Extract CodeRabbit insights (if available) 4. ✍️ Generate LinkedIn and Twitter content 5. 📱 Display the results for you to copy and use
